Ever since my sister came back from China I decided to take the plunge and buy a ticket and go there myself. Well that’s half the story…
My girlfriend Jenn use to live in Shanghai awhile back and wanted to return for a quick business and pleasure trip. She asked if I would like to join! How could I turn that down? The only thing was, she has already been to Beijing and saw all the touristy sites. This is where I decided to branch off from Jenn and travel on my own to see the great wall.
Can you imagine! Me alone in Beijing!? I sure could! But of course, then there’s my best friend and mentor Marcus. Almost as outrageous and crazy as I am. I told him my plan and said you should come with me to China! He paused… Thought for a quick moment and said “Sure!”
And that my friends is what makes Marcus one of my best friends! haha
I freaked out! A good freak out of course, but screaming for excitement! After we grabbed a bite to eat we went home and purchased our tickets to Shanghai to Beijing back to Los Angeles!
So today’s tip of the day is about spontaneity. Try it sometime! You wouldn’t believe the rush it gives you! The excitement of a plan that you didn’t even know existed which you are going to just plunge into is an amazing experience.
But please take into consideration that there is good spontaneity and bad.
My sister in China with her friends
If you are feeling amazing and on top of the world, that my friends is inspired spontaneity at its best form.
If you are feeling down, depressed, angry and are just not in a good place, sometimes your spontaneous adventure might not be the best choice and needs to be thought out. Sending out negative vibrations only brings in negative outcomes.
Yes, having a plan can be nice, comfortable and easy. But to have an inspired action of spontaneity at its best, priceless!
Wish me safe and wreak-less travels! xxx
