The banana diet. Weight loss, Nutrition, & Food

I usually hear about all the fad diets by living here in Los Angeles. But these banana diets came up by surprise.

For those of you that have never heard about the banana diet, one of them started in Japan March of 2009, which caused their banana sales to rise over 70%. CBS news report

The other diet was developed by a British nutritionist that can take 3-7 days. Depending on how much weight you would like to lose. On average you will lose 2 1/2 pounds per 3 days.

My opinion with any weight loss program, if you intake fewer calories it will help you to lose weight.

With that said, if you do choose to try this diet, be warned when you get off to be prepared to put those extra pounds back on.

So unless you want to get ready for a beach day or swim party in the next three days, I would rather go the juicing route, which I believe is more beneficial and you are more than likely to hold on to your weight loss results longer. xxx <3 A&L
