There are many different ways to replenish your electrolyte levels. But which way is the best way? That’s completely up to you!
Here are 7 main ingrediences that makes up electrolytes:
- Calcium
- Magnesium
- Phosphorous
- Potassium
- Selenium
- Sodium
- Zinc
Here are different options:
- To get a list of 9 different products if you don’t like sports drinks such as Gatorade or the calories to go along with it, go to this website.
If you want to go the ORGANIC route:
- Add a pinch of salt to 8 oz of water and drink slowly. (sodium)
- Eat a banana or munch on watermelon with a glass of water. (potassium)
- Coconut water. Blog (everything but Selenium and Zinc)
- Eat broccoli, halibut or spinach. (magnesium, Zinc)
- 2oz of low-fat cheese, a cup of yogurt or a glass of milk. (calcium, Phosphorous)
- Egg, boiled (Selenium)
I do not recommend any sport drinks or energy drinks. They are loaded with unbeneficial ingredients, loaded with toxins, calories and just plain junk! Unless you like that sort of thing. 😉
