Day two of NAD IV brain restoration therapy.
Woke up feeling tired and moving slower than normal. I got into the clinic at 8AM to start another NAD IV.
My catheter from yesterday was still in tack so they flushed it with saline and plugged me in with no problem. They gave me the same as yesterday 500 ml of saline and 750mg of NAD.
Once again I wasn’t feeling like doing much. I had my computer in my lap, my dog Russell by my side and just felt like sleeping.
Yes, I had Russell with me the whole time. I’ve got to say I have one of the best dogs ever! Instagram: puprussell 🙂
I decided to speed up my NAD drip to one drip every two seconds. I passed out pretty fast.
Like the first day, I still had the heavy chest compressions happening. The nurses described it like brain freeze if you drank something cold too fast. I didn’t see that comparison.
I was also feeling cramps as well. The same as a woman would get if she was about to start her cycle. It was kind of uncomfortable but manageable.
There was another patient here that was coming off of Methamphetamine. She was having some withdrawals the first 4 days of the treatment and mostly at dinner when she was off the NAD IV. She told me today that she didn’t feel any different after 4 days on the NAD treatment and was having a difficult time because of the withdrawls.
I got a bit of work done today but my head still feels cloudy. I had a hard time trying to find some words while talking. I was kind of irritable and the mild cramps in my lower abdomen didn’t help along with a small headache. The nurses said that’s completely normal symptoms when receiving the NAD.
As of now I still don’t feel any of the positives of the treatment. I have two more days to go. One thing I can say is my head isn’t thinking of anything. It’s just silent. I always have something going through my head but right now it feels empty and only focusing on what topic I’m trying to talk about but the cloudiness gets in the way of my thoughts. I like that I’m able to not jump around in the conversation but the cloudiness is a bit frustrating. I’m just not used to this.
Tomorrow is day three. I hope I can see results and get my thoughts back in order.
