The flu season has started! How do I know this? All my Hollywood social light friends are now home with a sore throat and flu symptoms.
I heard from a girlfriend the first red flag that the flu season has arrived are shown by people who are more outgoing and have a higher social life!
With that said, find the most social person you know and have them BBM, text, call or email you when they notice the first signs of a flu symptom! When this happens, begin juicing! Juice all the vegetables you’ve got! Load’em up!
I believe loading up with juices will help you fight off the flu 10X faster! Why? Well, I can’t remember the last time I have been sick. When the flu sparks up, I juice 10X more! If anything, I may feel a slight scratch on the back of my throat. But by the next day, my body has already fought it off.
If you are not sure which juices blend well together, here are a couple of my recipes.
Bring out your juicer!
- 3 Kale, 3 carrots, 2 Collard Greens, 1/2 Green Apple, 1 Celery
- 1 Beetroot, 3 Carrots, Slice of Ginger, 1/2 Green Apple
- Bunch of Spinach, Kale, 3 Carrots, 1/2 Lemon
- 1 Beetroot, 3 Kale leaves, 3 Garlic cloves, 1/2 Lemon, 1 Apple
The key to juicing
- Carrots
- Apples
- Lemons
If you have greens that show signs of depletion, throw them in the juicer. If you are unsure of the taste, my recommendation is carrots, apples, and lemons. They make any juice in my opinion… drinkable! Any questions, feel free to ask! xx <3 A&L
