Epsom salts: Health tips

I believe most of you have heard about Epsom salts. However, many don’t know the benefits of this magnificent wonder salt has on your body. I make sure to take at least 3 Epsom salt bath a week. After a long day, coming home to a hot bath to relax in is a stress reliever on it’s own. Yet, when you add Epsom salts to your bath, the benefits are endless.

The second most abundant component of our body is magnesium sulfate. To get technical with you, Magnesium is involved in the synthesis of protein, and it’s one of the components needed in your body to maintain more than 300 enzymatic reactions in the human body. Which contributes to the production of cardiovascular functions and energy.

The main ingredient in Epsom salt is magnesium sulfate. Magnesium is not only in our bones, teeth, blood, body fluids, organs and other tissues, it also balances and relaxes our muscles.

Benefits from soaking in Epsom salts

I may be a little excessive but I use 1 pound of Epsom salt for a regular size tub and 2 pounds for empire tubs. I told you, I love my Epsom salt baths and I sure benefit from the effects of them.

Researchers also have found that magnesium also increases energy and stamina by the production on ATP (adenosine triphosphate).
