Good morning smoothie recipe: Recipes, Food/ Drink, Morning Rituals & Nutrition

Ever since my “What’s up elle” video, I have had many requests to post my breakfast smoothie recipe. Your wish is my command!

Smoothie
First make sure you have some frozen strawberries, blueberries and bananas. If not buy some and store them in freezer storage bags.

Add all ingredient to blender:

  • 5 organic frozen strawberries
  • organic blueberries to liking
  • half of a organic frozen banana
  • 2-3 tablespoons of organic sprouted or un-sprouted flax seeds
  • 2-3 tablespoons of organic sprouted or un-sprouted pumpkin seeds
  • gogi berries to liking
  • 1 tablespoon of organic acai powder
  • 2 tablespoons of organic raw cacao powder
  • Organic coconut shreds to liking

Then add either milk or almond milk to help blend everything up.

I use organic home made almond milk RECIPE

Or organic non-pasteurized or homogenized milk. BLOG

I put just enough in so it can blend smoothly. Not too much so it’s pure liquid. I love my smoothies thick.

I then add a thin layer of granola to the bottom of the bowl, chop up a half of banana for the top, freeze the other half for tomorrow and sprinkle pumpkin seeds on top.
