I love to make my own pasta sauce! You can never go wrong! Just throw what ever you love into the VitaMix and wallah! You will have a remarkable tasting pasta sauce. So my perfect pasta sauce is this:
Ingredients
- Balsamic vinegar
- Shallot peeled
- Red wine vinegar
- Sun-dried tomatoes
- Salt
- Basil leaves
- Garlic clove peeled
- Ripe heirloom tomatoes
- Olive oil
- Dried oregano
- Almond Milk
- Pepper flakes
So when you have all the ingredient, it’s time to blend!
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 medium shallot peeled
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 10 fresh basil leaves
- 1 1/ peeled garlic cloves
- 1/4 olive oil
- 4-5 ripe heirloom tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 cup almond milk Almond Milk Recipe
- Pepper flakes (optional)
If you like more garlic, add more garlic! If you want more dried oregano or fresh basil leaves add more. Have fun, and keep tasting the sauce till you feel it’s perfect for you!
Additional
What I love to do to make the sauce more chunky, chop up fresh yellow squash, zucchini, mushrooms, onion, green bell pepper and to add some kick throw some jalapeno and sauté everything in the pan. Add the sauce once you cooked the vegetables to your liking and all you need to do is serve the pasta and throw on the sauce! xxx <3 A&L
