One great reason why you should start your day off with a smoothie is because your stomach is empty! If you go back to the food chart I posted (CHART) it specifically states to eat fruit on an empty stomach.
How many calories is in this smoothie? Lets break it down!
- 5 organic frozen strawberries (18.55)
- organic blueberries to liking (39.52)- 1/2 cup
- half of a organic frozen banana (52.51)
- 2-3 tablespoons of organic sprouted or un-sprouted flax seeds (110)-2 tbsp
- 2-3 tablespoons of organic sprouted or un-sprouted pumpkin seeds (85.44)-2 tbsp
- Goji berries to liking (100)-1/4 ounce, info from my packaging
- 1 tablespoon of organic acai powder (25), info from my packaging
- 2 tablespoons of organic raw cacao powder (60), info from my packaging
- Organic coconut shreds to liking (70.8) 1/4 cup
- My raw milk (90) 1/2 cup, info from my carton (not including in total calories, since most people do not drink non-pasteurized and homogenized milk.)
WOW!!! That’s 561.82 calories in one meal!
