A girlfriend of mine encourages this week’s blogs. She was informed by her doctor she had to start taking HCL supplements. She asked me to recommend the best product to take. Before recommending a product, I really needed to do my homework.
HCL, which stands for Hydrochloric Acid is a non-essential nutrient enzyme that is secreted by the stomach naturally.
When you consume food HCL is released, especially when fats and proteins are ingested. This makes it possible for your body to absorb calcium, vitamins, protein, B12, and iron.
As we age HCL deficiencies can occur.
What’re the symptoms?
- Irritable bowel syndrome
- lupus
- gas
- bloating
- rheumatoid arthritis
- acne
- iron deficiency anemia
- allergies
- gallstones
- osteoporosis
- asthma
- eczema
- urticaria
- yeast, bacteria, and parasites in the intestines
If you have any of these symptoms please consult your physician to see if you could possibly have an HCL deficiency. Tomorrow I will discuss the possible benefits of HCL supplements.
